Osmio HT+ Dental & Lab Direct Flow Reverse Osmosis System

A modern, high-tech, tankless reverse osmosis system designed to ensure your decontamination room operations remain sanitary, with on-demand water and minimal maintenance. A key advantage of the Direct Flow system over traditional tank-based reverse osmosis systems is the significant water savings and the elimination of tank sanitization. Tanks can harbor bacteria, leading to poor membrane performance and fouling, which increases reliance on DI resin and compromises system efficiency—issues avoided with the Osmio HT+.

The system utilizes a 400 GPD Direct Flow Reverse Osmosis Membrane, delivering freshly purified water at approximately 1LPM with 3 bar incoming pressure.

Key Features:

  • Ideal for autoclaves and sterilizers: Removes up to 99.99% of impurities from UK mains water, ensuring high-quality deionized water.

  • Under-counter, commercial-grade system: Produces DI water for dental, medical, and laboratory applications.

  • Five high-quality filters, hygienically packaged: Meets HTM requirements and delivers water with a purity level of 0-3ppm, equivalent to distilled water.

  • Smart Water Technology: Monitors water quality, tracks filter lifespan, and optimizes system performance.

  • Saves over 30,000 liters per year: A significant water-saving solution for dental practices, laboratories, and schools.

  • Compact and easy installation: Standing model with a small footprint—no need for wall mounting.

  • 6-month filter lifespan (first four filters), with variable deionized filter lifespan.

  • Full professional support: Access to experienced professionals for assistance.

Important: Please download the manual from the files section before purchasing as it is not included in printed form. We recommend contacting your plumber or installer for guidance, especially if they’re not familiar with reverse osmosis systems.

The Perfect Solution for Dental and Medical Applications

The Osmio HT+ Dental & Lab Direct Flow Reverse Osmosis System is digitally controlled and equipped with Smart Water technology, specifically designed to meet the needs of dental and medical applications where deionized water is essential. With high-quality filters, Plug & Play components, and a digital controller, this system continuously tracks filter life and measures water purity in real-time.

After the reverse osmosis filtration process, the system uses a mixed-bed filter to purify the water down to deionized levels. The mixed-bed filter changes color when it needs to be replaced. Additionally, the digital controller can be programmed to cut the water flow when the filter has reached its end of life, preventing damage to autoclaves or sterilizers.

The Smart Water system continuously analyzes water quality and displays real-time data on the controller screen. It detects when water is consumed and automatically reverse flushes the membrane filters to protect water quality. The system also tracks water temperature, filter life, and errors in the background, ensuring the highest uptime and optimal performance. The digital display shows exactly how many days are left before the next filter change, and the system emits an alarm when it’s time to replace the filters. If the time is exceeded, the water flow is automatically cut off to prevent system damage.

Designed for DI Water Production Across Multiple Applications

The Osmio HT+ DI system is engineered to produce high-quality deionized water for various applications, including dental, pharmaceutical, detergent, and medical uses, ensuring consistent performance and purity.

This system is an ideal choice for anyone who requires reliable, on-demand deionized water with minimal maintenance and optimal efficiency.

Installation Precautions

1. This, and any other pressurised system connected to the water mains, or pumped from a tank or gravity fed, should be protected as appropriate from leaks. It is necessary to ensure that the property where this system will be installed has controlled pressure regulation using a Pressure Reducing Valve to ensure the maximum pressure cannot go above the specified parameters. You are also advised to use a leak detector, such that if any leak is detected, the supply to the system will shut off and not cause damage due to water leaking to the property. This is especially important as water [pressure can rise on the evenings and weekends to over double what you measure in the daytime.

2., Please use clean vinyl gloves when handling the filters and touching them. This is to avoid any bacterial contamination from your hands to the filters which can then multiply and cause a bad smell in the system.

Care and Instruction

Thank you for choosing Aquifer Pure for your water purification needs! To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your products, please follow the care and maintenance guidelines outlined below. These steps will help maintain the purity and efficiency of your water filtration systems.

General Care and Maintenance Tips

  • Handle with Care: Always handle your Aquifer Pure products carefully to avoid damage. Clean and maintain the filters and devices as per the recommended guidelines to ensure they perform at their best.

  • Store in a Dry Place: When not in use, store filters, taps, and other accessories in a cool, dry place to prevent any damage from moisture or humidity.

Filter Care Instructions

  1. Filter Replacement:

    • The life of your filter depends on the type of water you're filtering and the level of usage. Generally, filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months. For heavy usage or highly contaminated water, replace your filter sooner.

    • You will notice a decrease in water flow or a change in taste when it's time for a filter change.

  2. Cleaning the Filter:

    • Some Aquifer Pure filters are washable. If your product allows for cleaning, follow the manufacturer instructions for washing and drying.

    • Use lukewarm water and avoid harsh chemicals to clean the filter.

    • Never scrub the filter with abrasive materials as this can damage the filtration media.

  3. Pre-filter Maintenance:

    • If your system includes a pre-filter, check it regularly for debris or buildup. Rinse it gently with water to maintain its efficiency.

Tap Care Instructions

  1. Regular Cleaning:

    • Clean your tap regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive sponges or strong chemicals, as they may damage the surface or leave harmful residues.

    • If you notice any buildup around the faucet, soak a cloth in vinegar or citric acid solution, wrap it around the affected area, and let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping away the buildup.

  2. Avoid Leaks:

    • Ensure that the tap is properly tightened to prevent leaks. If you notice a leak, check the O-rings and seals, and replace them if necessary.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  1. Low Water Flow:

    • If you experience slow water flow, check the filter for clogging or buildup. Replace or clean the filter according to the instructions.

    • Check if the tap or valve is fully open and clear of any obstructions.

  2. Unpleasant Taste or Odor:

    • A strange taste or odor may indicate that the filter is nearing the end of its lifespan or needs a cleaning. Replace the filter or follow cleaning guidelines as appropriate.

Safety Guidelines

  • Do Not Overuse: Avoid overloading the system with large volumes of water in a short amount of time to ensure the system can filter effectively and avoid damage.

  • Temperature Considerations:

    • Do not expose Aquifer Pure filters or taps to temperatures above 100°F (38°C) as this may damage the materials and affect filtration efficiency.

  • Check Water Source: If you’re using a source with high sediment content, pre-filtering the water may be necessary to extend the life of your primary filter.

By following these care instructions, you ensure that your Aquifer Pure product continues to deliver clean, safe, and pure water for you and your family. For further questions or assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. Thank you for trusting Aquifer Pure!
