The Osmio Azzurra is a very high quality 3 Way Tri-flow Kitchen Mixer Tap with a Spray Hose. It makes the ideal solution for a 3 in 1 kitchen mixer tap by combining elegant design and superb functionality. The Osmio Azzurra would be a welcome addition to a top quality home or workplace kitchen and uses separate water paths to ensure that the filtered water pathway is not mixed with any unfiltered water.

The filtered water is dispensed via the horizontal spout, which has a smooth swivel action to be positioned as required.  The build quality of the Osmio Azzurra 3 Way Tri-flow Tap is second to none with a very heavy solid brass construction with a durable chrome highly polished surface.

The swan-necked spray hose has a dual control feature for different spray variations and is controlled with via the ceramic cartridge lever, a mark of long-lasting great quality.

How the Tap Handles Work

The diagram below shows how the tap handles work. The right hand lever pushes out and moves away from you for hot water and towards you for cold water and anywhere between mixes hot and cold. The left hand lever will move towards you and provide the filtered water - or if you are using a water softener and your cold and hot side is softened, you can have this side providing the hard water for drinking, which can be filtered or not as you prefer.

Essential maintenance

Spray Hose eventually gets lose which will create a small leak from where the hose connects to the column. It is very simple to solve this just by using a small adjustable spanner. Handles may also eventually get lose and you need a small set of Allen keys to tighten then back on. In hard water areas, it's normal for tap valves to require periodic replacement due to the buildup of limescale. Over time, mineral deposits from the water can affect the smooth operation of the valve, leading to drips or reduced performance. This is a common maintenance need and not a fault in the tap itself—regular valve changes help ensure continued reliability and extend the life of your tap.

Cleaning Instructions

  1. It is recommended the tap surface is cleaned with warm soapy water followed with a rinse and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  2. Do not use any cleaning products on the tap as they can damage the tap finish.
  3. Regular cleaning will prevent lime-scale from building up.

Warranty: This tap includes a 3-year parts warranty and a 1-year finish warranty. Replacement parts will be supplied for DIY installation, with easy-to-follow video guides (see below the description). Repairs require only basic tools: a 2.5mm Allen key and a spanner. Warranty excludes damage from misuse or improper installation.

The Osmio Azzurra 3-Way (Tri-flow) Kitchen Tap With Spray Hose is supplied with tubing that is 1/2" BSP male. You can connect it up to any existing water filter but you will need a tap adaptor
- For 1/4" (6mm tubing) you need a 1/2” female to ¼” push fit tap adaptor
- For 3/8" (10mm tubing) you need a 1/2" female to 3/8" push fit tap adaptor.
- Both of which are standard plumbing parts - if you need them just ask us! These come supplied if you buy the tap with any of our water filter systems.

Water Pressure & Flow Chart

This tap will produce the following flow rates according to the incoming pressure on both hot and cold:

It is therefore recommended that this tap only be used on a pressurised hot water system. It may be used on a gravity fed hot water system provided the incoming pressure produces a flow rate that is acceptable to you, or if the gravity fed hot water system is pumped and pressurised.

Filter Care Instructions

  1. Filter Replacement:

    • The life of your filter depends on the type of water you're filtering and the level of usage. Generally, filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months. For heavy usage or highly contaminated water, replace your filter sooner.

    • You will notice a decrease in water flow or a change in taste when it's time for a filter change.

  2. Cleaning the Filter:

    • Some Aquifer Pure filters are washable. If your product allows for cleaning, follow the manufacturer instructions for washing and drying.

    • Use lukewarm water and avoid harsh chemicals to clean the filter.

    • Never scrub the filter with abrasive materials as this can damage the filtration media.
